Well, we finally have the blog (online journal) set up. Hopefully this works! Our goal is to write about what we see and do each day and upload a picture or two along the way…
So obviously if you are reading this, then you found our site. Bookmark it, or add it to your favorites and come back often. You can also add a comment if you want to.

This works, guys! Cool website! Have fun and travel safely – see you next weekend! :)- Susie
This is really cool. You’ll have to set me up when you get back.I hope you packed On the Road (Kerouac). There’s also been a great series in The Atlantic Monthly by this French (sorry, and get over it) philosopher/journalist, Bernard-Henri Levy (of course it’s hyphenated!) called “In the Footsteps of Tocqueville.” Nice non-anti-American-though-still-European-outsider (me likey hyphen too) commentary on this great and groovy land.Maybe you know a librarian that can get you a copy in the next day (as if you don’t have other things to do).
Hi Kids!We hope you are enjoying the first night of your vacation. Your daughter is doing well, however, she threw up already (don’t worry, just grass) She is getting along quite well with her beloved cousin. Because of the heat, their walk (yes, together!) consisted of just to the corner and back. We just got back from a very fun night with our friends and Bill & Stel’s and now both of our granddogs want to play which is annoying their slightly inebriated grandfather! Be safe–we love you both very much. M & D
